When testing this product here at HQ, one thing that really stood out was the overall robustness and high build quality of the unit. Running temperatures were also significantly lower than most other LED fixtures we've tested, which is an important factor in contributing to the overall efficiency and lifespan of the components.This unit also has an adjustable spectrum, giving you the ability to select the proportion of white to red diodes that you wish to use at any given phase. Additional PAR Map informationWe've conducted some PAR testing with this light on two different settings. As you can see from both of the images, the spread and intensity of this light really is exceptional. We were seeing numbers in excess of 1000 centrally, and 800 within the vast majority of the 1.2m square footprint we used (hung at 18 inches). This impressive light really is setting a new bar when it comes to quality photon concentration and distribution for it's class.
What you're seeing here is the overall intensity of usable light (PAR spectrum) falling within a given area.
As you can see above, the overall photon yield between the two settings is very similar. The similarity in distribution and intensity seen between both PAR maps show that there is very little difference in efficiency between the different red and white diodes used. Standard practice would be to use a higher proportion of red diodes during flower, however the beauty of this fixture and it's functionality means that you can decide for yourself based on the results you want, using the PPFD and spectrum information given.
